What are the reunion years in 2018?
The University of Utah Alumni Reunions work in a 5-year anniversary cycle. The 2018 reunion years are 1968, 1973, 1978, 1983, 1988, 1993, 1998, 2003, 2008, and 2013.
I’d like to book a hotel closest to the activities? What do you recommend?
If you are attending only the Friday events, we would recommend the University of Utah Guest House or University Marriott.
If you are attending the awards banquet on Friday evening and/or the reunion dinners and events on Saturday, we would suggest the Little America or Grand America Hotels, where all of Saturday’s events occur.

How do I know where to go for the events I registered for?
The week before Alumni Weekend you will receive a confirmation email with directions to each of your scheduled events. There will be directional signs and staff to direct you at each of the venues.

I didn’t make a scholarship donation for my anniversary year, how can I make one now?
You can always return back to the site and make a gift or donate directly at the School of Medicine Scholarship Fund. Be sure to note that it is a reunion year gift.
I have a food allergy and will be attending a catered event.
If you suffer from a food allergy, please make a note of it in your online registration in the notes section. The Awards Banquet and Reunion Dinner registration have a section for you to note allergies and requests.
I lost my coupon code (I am a Distinguished Awardee, Half Century Society Member, or Community Faculty Awardee).

I am purchasing a table for my department. What do I do if I don’t have everyone’s names but want to reserve a table?
Register online for the Awards Banquet with a table of 10, but temporarily put the name of the person who is registering for the department in the first guest box and add the name of the department and pending to all other boxes (for example, the first name is radiology and the last name is pending).
I now have the names, titles, and food preferences of our department guests for the awards banquet, how do I enter them?

I originally registered only myself, but now I am bringing someone with me.
Simple, just go online and register the individual accompanying you.
Who is complimentary for the SOM Awards Banquet?
Half Century Society guests are free with one guest—this also includes the Class of 1968. Additional guests are $70 each.
The 2018 distinguished awardees receive a table for ten compliments of the SOM Alumni Association (for the awardees and nine guests). Additional guests are $70 each.
Past distinguished awardees and past SOM board presidents receive two complimentary tickets to the banquet, additional guests are $70 each.
